This module introduces Lou and Sue, founders of LUSU Sports, who specialise in inclusive PE and sports training. Unit 10: Practical ideas of adaptations using the STEP model for sending and receiving.
Unit 11: Practical ideas for target groups – visual impairment

Unit 13: Practical ideas for target groups – neurodiverse and hearing loss
This module delves into adaptive equipment, spotlighting the STEP model for sending and receiving. It introduces various tools like nylon squares, flying fish, and catching nets, emphasising their role in refining motor skills, enhancing tracking abilities, and fostering decision-making.
Module 5: Pathways to Community, National Governing Bodies and Training
Unit 14: Pathways – Gifted and Talented SEND Athletes.
Unit 15: Training in Schools – The LUSU Approach
This final module directs attention to pathways for gifted and talented SEND pupils, urging educators to guide them toward opportunities such as local community clubs offering activities like wheelchair basketball, power chair football, frame running, or sensory tennis.
